How much can be done in one visit?

How long does a cut with colour take?
Budget 3 to 4 hours for a cut with a single colour on hair that has not been chemically treated recently. Thick or waist length hair pushes that towards 5 hours. A perm or a straightening service on top adds roughly another 2 hours.
When do we split the work across two visits?
We split when the gap between your current colour and your target is more than about three or four levels, when the hair is already porous from previous bleaching, or when you want a vivid shade over an old dark dye. Splitting is not us being cautious for the sake of it. Lifting too far in one sitting is where breakage happens.
Can I do all of it the day before I fly home?
We would rather you did not. If the colour needs adjusting or the toner shifts after the first wash, you want a day or two in Hanoi to come back. Book your transformation early in your trip and keep a small window free.
How far in advance should I book?
Weekends and evenings fill first. Two or three days ahead is usually enough, and booking ahead earns the larger discount below.

How does the booking discount work?
Booking ahead takes 30 percent off, and checking in at the salon takes a further 10 percent, so up to 40 percent in total. The prices above already reflect the published reductions where shown.
What is covered by warranty?
Straightening and perm services carry a 90 day warranty, and bleaching or colour carries 30 days. If the result drops or shifts inside that window, bring it back to us.
Why do we quote before we start?
Because hair of the same length can take very different amounts of product. A quote up front means no awkward conversation at the till.

What condition does hair need to be in?

Can you copy any reference photograph?
We can get close, and we will tell you how close. Reference photographs are often taken on hair that started lighter, or are edited. What we promise is a clear description of what your starting point allows.
What if I change my mind halfway?
Tell your stylist. Stopping after the cut and leaving the colour for another day is always allowed, and you pay only for what was done.
Planning the change around a trip
What should I bring to the consultation?
Two or three photographs of what you want, one photograph of your hair in daylight, and the name of anything you have put on it in the last six months, including box dye and henna. Henna in particular changes what is chemically possible.
Is there a language barrier?

How soon can I do something else to it?
