When we will say no, and what we offer instead

Turning work away is part of doing colour properly, and you should expect it from any salon that bleaches. These are the situations where we will not start on the day:

• The hair fails a stretch test. If a wet strand pulls out and stays limp instead of returning, more lightening is not a reasonable thing to do to it.
• Henna or a metallic dye is present and the test strand reacts. This is a safety question, not a preference.
• The target needs more lift than the hair can take in the time you have. A level 10 on a level 2 base, the day before a flight, is not a plan we will agree to.
• The scalp is broken, irritated or freshly treated. We reschedule rather than work over it.
• You need to look finished within 48 hours and the honest route is two sessions. Rushing it produces exactly the result you would come back to complain about.

Saying no is not the end of the appointment.
